Warning
Before starting any service procedure in this section, refer to the Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTICE: To avoid coupling damage, do not use hand tools to disconnect or connect the C-lock.

NOTE
Do not remove the locking ring from the C-lock connector.
Hold the coupling by the inner side of the hose connection to prevent internal rotation of the coupling.
Carefully rotate the locking ring until it turns approximately 90 degrees.

NOTICE: The female side of the C-lock connector contains an O-ring. Take care not to lose the O-ring.
Slide the C-lock coupling away from the component fitting.

NOTICE: Do not leave the locking ring in the unlocked position. This will weaken the locking ring and prevent it from seating properly during reassembly, resulting in a leak.
Rotate the locking ring back to the original locked position.

To connect, make sure the C-lock connector locking ring is in the closed position.

NOTE
The locking ring slightly opens so the male-threaded fitting can enter the C-lock coupling.
A click is heard as the locking ring snaps into the locked position.
Insert the male-threaded fitting into the C-lock coupling.

Gently pull the C-lock coupling to make sure it is installed correctly.
