Removal

  1. Remove the hood panel grille.
    Refer to Hood Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
    1. Remove the wiper linkage assembly clips.
      Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

    1. NOTICE: Make sure the rubber bushing is installed on the wiper linkage assembly before installation. Failure to do so may result in incorrect wiper system operation.

    1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector and remove the wiper linkage assembly.
  3. Disconnect the wiper link from the wiper motor crank arm and set aside.
  4. Rotate the wiper motor crank arm to gain access to all of the wiper motor mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the wiper motor mounting bolts and the wiper motor.
    Torque: 115 lb-in (13 N·m)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
