In this manual: Reverse Brake Assist
~1min read

The system is designed to reduce the severity of or completely prevent a collision with obstacles behind the vehicle using sensors in the rear of the vehicle. The system operates when reversing (R) and moving at speeds of 1–7 mph (1.5–12 km/h).
If the system detects an obstacle behind your vehicle, it issues a warning through the rear Parking Aid system or the Cross Traffic Alert system. See Rear Parking Aid. See Cross Traffic Alert.
