Automatic lamps turn on the headlamps in low light conditions or when the wipers are operating.

Turn the lighting control to the automatic lamps position.

The headlamps remain on for a period of time after the ignition is turned off. Use the touchscreen to adjust the length of time the headlamps stay on.

Headlamps with Activated Wipers

When you turn on the automatic headlamps, the headlamps turn on within 10 seconds after the wipers are activated. They turn off approximately 60 seconds after the wipers are turned off.

Headlamps are not turned on by the wipers:

  • During a single wipe.
  • When using the windshield washers.
  • If the wipers are operating in intermittent mode.
