Removal

  1. Remove the bolts and the hood latch from the radiator support.
    Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

  2. Remove the front hood latch.
    1. If equipped.
      Disconnect the hood ajar switch electrical connector and move the wiring harness aside.
    1. Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch.
    1. Disconnect the hood latch release cable from the hood latch and remove the hood latch.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
