Removal

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
    Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  2. Remove the rear door latch.
    • Disconnect the liftgate lock electrical connector.
    • Remove the retainers and the rear door latch.
      Torque: 89 lb-in (10 N·m)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
