Removal

  1. Remove the check arm bolt.
    Torque: 18 lb-ft (25 N·m)
  2. Disconnect the liftgate electrical connector.
  3. Remove the bolts and the door.
    Torque: 18 lb-ft (24 N·m)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Check the alignment and correct if necessary.
    Refer to: Rear Door Alignment (501-03 Body Closures, General Procedures).
