Activation

  1. Turn the ignition on. Do not start the engine. For vehicles with push-button start, press and hold the start button for two seconds without depressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine.
  2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal while depressing the brake pedal.
  3. Keep the pedals fully depressed.
  4. After three seconds, a message confirming that the reset has been performed is displayed.
  5. After 25 seconds, a message confirming that the reset is complete is displayed in the message center.
  6. Release the accelerator and brake pedals.
  7. The message confirming that the reset is complete is no longer displayed.
  8. Ignition OFF.
