SYNC Module [APIM]. Removal and Installation

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the FDIM.
   Refer to: Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 3, Removal and Installation).

   • Disconnect the electrical connector.

   • Remove the clips and separate the APIM.
     Torque: 9 lb-in (1 N·m)

   

Installation

1. 1
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. 2
   If installing a new APIM, program the APIM to the correct software level.
