Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
WARNING
This system does not relieve you of your responsibility to drive with the attention and care required. Failure to follow this warning may result in loss of control of the vehicle and injury, or death.

- With ESP
The system provides stability assistance when the vehicle begins to leave its intended path. To do this, the system brakes the individual wheels and reduces engine torque if necessary.
The system also provides enhanced traction control by reducing engine torque if the wheels spin during acceleration. This function makes it easier to start off on slippery roads or unstable surfaces and improves comfort by limiting wheel spin in tight bends.
Stability control indicator
While driving, the indicator flashes when the system intervenes. See Warning lights and indicators
