The system activates the hazard warning lights in the event of an impact severe enough to deploy an airbag (roof, front, side or curtain airbag) or the seat belt pretensioners.

The hazard warning lights switch off when:

  • you press the hazard warning light button;
  • you press the alarm button (depending on equipment) on the keyless entry transmitter, or;
  • the vehicle battery is discharged.
