Child Restraint Systems (for EU countries)

~2min read

Many types of child restraint systems are available on the market. However, not all of them are suitable for your vehicle. When selecting a child restraint system, refer to the table, which shows whether child restraint systems can be installed in each vehicle seat position.

IL: Разрешается установка детских удерживающих устройств, оборудованных креплениями

IL: Child restraint systems equipped with ISO FIX attachments that are listed in the table may be installed.

IUF: Universal forward-facing child restraint systems equipped with ISO FIX attachments may be installed if they are suitable for the indicated group.

For group 1, dealers offer the genuine Honda ISO FIX child restraint system, in which the child faces forward. L: Child restraint systems equipped with ISO FIX attachments that are listed in the table may be installed.

These systems may be semi-universal, designed specifically for this vehicle, or have usage restrictions.

U: Universal child restraint systems suitable for the indicated group may be installed. X: This seating position is not suitable for installing child restraint systems.

*1: Move the front seat as far back as possible.

*2: Set the front seat to the rearmost position and move it forward 30 mm (3 clicks).

Some child restraint systems are classified by group (weight class). Be sure to check the group of the child restraint system, which may be indicated by the manufacturer in the instructions, on the packaging, or on the labels.

Some of the child restraint systems listed in the table are genuine Honda products. You can purchase them from an authorized Honda dealer.

For proper installation, refer to the separate owner's manual for the child restraint system.

Your vehicle is equipped with a manually adjustable rear seat. To install a child restraint system in any rear seat position, slide the rear seat all the way back.

Using a child restraint system that is not suitable for your vehicle will not provide proper protection for the child in the event of a collision. As a result, the child may be seriously injured or killed.

Your vehicle is equipped with lower anchorages for installing child seats in all rear seat positions. These anchorages should be used only to install child restraint systems specifically designed for these anchorages. For information on installing child restraint systems compatible with lower anchorages, see page 58.
