Clean the interior and exterior glass surfaces of the vehicle with special commercially available glass cleaners. A solution of vinegar in water, mixing one part vinegar and ten parts water, can also be used. This solution effectively removes haze from the inside of the glass. To wipe glass and clear plastic surfaces, use a soft cloth or paper towel.

Note that the electrically conductive grid of the electric rear window defogger is located on the inner surface of the rear window. To avoid damage, do not wipe the rear window across the grid lines (from top to bottom). Wipe the inner surface of the rear window along the conductive grid lines, without applying excessive force.
