Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Assembly")
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle switch (A) after loosening the seat belt buckle mounting bolt.

Installation
  • Make sure to install the harness wires so they are not pinched and do not interfere with other parts.
  1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  3. Install the seat belt buckle switch.
  4. Install the front seat assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat Assembly")
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. After installing the seat belt buckle switch, check that the system operates correctly.
