Description

  • The Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) determines whether and when to deploy the airbag module, seat belt pretensioner (BPT), and emergency locking device (EFD).
  • It supplies the airbag module with the power required to deploy the airbag module or BPT and EFD.
  • It also performs the self-diagnosis function of the supplemental restraint system.
