WARNING

To reduce the risk of airbag deployment unexpectedly and causing serious injury or death:

  • Do not strike or allow any objects to impact the areas where the airbags or sensors are installed.
  • Do not perform maintenance on or near the airbag sensors. If the location or angle of the sensors is changed, the airbags may deploy when they should not, or may not deploy when they should.
  • Do not install bumper guards or replace the bumper with non-genuine HYUNDAI parts. This may adversely affect collision and airbag deployment performance.
  • Turn the ENGINE START/STOP button to the OFF or ACC position when the vehicle is being towed to prevent accidental airbag deployment.
  • Have all airbag system repairs performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
