Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the generator connector (A) and the cable (B) from the "B" terminal.
  4. To loosen the tension, turn the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise, then remove the drive belt (A).
  5. Remove the generator by unscrewing the mounting bolts (A).

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  2. After installation, adjust the generator belt tension. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Drive Belt") Generator mounting bolt: 49.0 - 64 N·m
