Description

The rear sunshade AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN is operated by one-touch switch. The sunshade covers the inside of the rear window to protect passengers from direct sunlight. The rear sunshade system is integrated into the BCM. If the symptom appears to be related to the rear sunshade logic, the BCM must be checked. In this case, refer to the diagnostic procedures using GDS (input/output data check, operation check). The AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN main features, operated by the one-touch switch, improve driver convenience. When shifting into reverse, the rear sunshade automatically rolls down. When the vehicle is parked, the sunshade returns to its original position. After AUTO DOWN in reverse, the rear sunshade automatically rises when driving at a speed above 20 km/h.
