Inspection

Connect the motor to the battery and check that the motor operates correctly. Then reverse the battery connections and check that the motor operates correctly in the opposite direction. If it operates abnormally, replace the motor.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the rear parcel shelf trim (A) after removing the rear seat. (Refer to Body - "Rear Parcel Shelf Trim")
  3. Remove the rear sunshade (A) after disconnecting the connector and the rear sunshade mounting nuts.

Installation

  1. Install the rear sunshade after connecting the connector.
  2. Install the rear package trim and the rear seat.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
