Removal

Emergency Platform Lower Panel Switch
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the hazard switch lower panel (A) after releasing the clip.
    Wear gloves to protect your hands from injury.
  4. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  5. Remove the cup holder bracket (A).
  6. Loosen the mounting screws (A).
  7. Using a screwdriver or a trim remover, remove the cup holder in the rear seat armrest assembly (A).
  8. Disconnect the connector (B).
  9. Remove the sunshade switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

Emergency Platform Lower Panel Switch
  1. Install the side cover switch assembly.
  2. Install the emergency pad lower panel.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  4. Install the rear sunshade switch.
  5. Install the rear seat armrest into the armrest.

If the driver lowers the rear sunshade using the rear sunshade switch, the rear sunshade does not perform AUTOMATIC return.
