Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the luggage compartment side trim [RH]. (Refer to Body - "Luggage Compartment Trim")
  3. Disconnect the connector, then remove the ECS control unit.

Installation

  1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
  2. Perform ESC variant coding.
    1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC) located under the instrument panel.
    2. Select the model and ECS.
