Removal

  1. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Raise the vehicle and make sure it is securely supported.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from the front hub.
Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire.
  3. Remove the lower covers (A) and (B).
  4. Remove the crossmember (A) by removing the bolts.

    Tightening Torque: 53.9 ~ 64 N·m

When removing the crossmember (A), use a jack for safety.
  5. Remove the front propeller shaft by loosening the bolts. [Both sides]

    Tightening Torque: 49.0 ~ 69 N·m

    1. When reinstalling the propeller shaft bolts after removal, each bolt and washer must be returned to its original position and the bolt insertion direction must be the same as before. Therefore, make marks to avoid mixing up the bolts and washers before removing the propeller shaft.
    2. If the propeller shaft bolts and washers are installed in the wrong position or direction, it may cause vibration and noise at high vehicle speed due to propeller shaft imbalance.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
