Replacement
  • An assistant is required to remove or install the hood lift support.
  • When removing the hood lift support, remove the lower end first, then the upper end.
  1. Using a screwdriver, carefully lift the socket clips (A) at both ends of the lift support (B), then remove the lift support from the bracket.
  2. Insert the lift support socket into the bracket for installation.
    • Make sure the hood latches/unlatches and opens/closes properly.
