Replacement
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  • An assistant is required to remove and install the trunk lid.
  • Be careful not to damage the trunk lid and body surface.
  1. Remove the trunk lid trim. (Refer to Trunk Lid - "Trunk Lid Trim")
  2. Disconnect the trunk lid connectors and wiring harness (A).
  3. After removing the bolts, remove the trunk lid assembly (B).

    Tightening torque: 21.6 ~ 26 N·m

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Make sure the trunk lid locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
    • If necessary, adjust the trunk lid.
    • Make sure the connectors are connected correctly.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
