Trunk Lid Trim Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or removal tool, wrap the tools with protective tape to prevent damage to components. Be careful not to scratch the body surface.

   Using a screwdriver or puller, remove the trunk lock cover (A).

   Using a screwdriver, remove the trunk lid switch (A) and disconnect the connector.

   Remove the trunk lid seal.

   Disconnect the trunk side trim.

   After removing the pin clips, remove the trunk lid side cover (B) by separating the hook (A) from the trunk lid trim.

   After loosening the mounting screws, remove the trunk lid inside handle (A).

   After loosening the mounting screw and clips, remove the trunk lid trim (A).

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   Make sure the trunk lid opens and closes properly. Replace all damaged clips.
