WARNING - Windshield heating Do not use or during heating operation in very humid weather. The difference between the outside temperature and the windshield temperature may cause the outer surface of the windshield to fog up, reducing visibility. In this case, set the knob or selector button to and the fan speed to the lowest setting.
- For maximum defrosting, set the temperature to the far right position and the fan speed to the maximum setting.
- If you want to direct warm air toward the floor during defrosting or defogging, set the mode to the floor/defrost position.
- Before driving, clear snow and ice from the windshield, rear window, outside mirrors and all side windows.
- Clear snow and ice from the hood and the air intake on the hood grille to improve heating and defroster efficiency and reduce the likelihood of fogging on the inside of the windshield.
