Sunroof

If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you can slide or tilt it using the sunroof control lever located on the overhead console.

The sunroof can be opened, closed, or tilted only with the ignition key in the ON position.

NOTE

- In cold and humid climates, the sunroof may not operate properly due to the cold.

- After washing the vehicle or after a thunderstorm, wipe off all water on the sunroof before using it.

NOTICE - Do not keep operating the sunroof control lever after the sunroof is fully open, closed, or tilted. This may damage the motor or system components. - Make sure the sunroof is closed when you leave the vehicle. - If the sunroof is open, rain or snow may enter through the roof and wet the interior, and may also lead to theft.

NOTE

The sunroof cannot slide when it is tilted, and it cannot be tilted when it is open or sliding.

WARNING - Never adjust the sunroof or sunshade while driving. You may lose control of the vehicle, and the resulting accident could cause death, serious injury, or property damage. - Do not allow children to operate the sunroof.
