NOTICE To avoid damaging the conductors connected to the inner surface of the rear window, never use sharp objects or cleaning products containing abrasives to clean the rear window. To avoid discharging the battery, use the defroster only when the engine is running.

NOTE

Rear window defroster (if equipped)

The defroster heats the rear window to remove frost, condensation and thin ice when the engine is running.

To turn on the rear window defroster, press the button located on the center console. The rear window defroster button indicator illuminates when it is active.

If there is a heavy buildup of snow on the rear window, brush it off before turning on the defroster.

The rear window defroster turns off automatically after approximately 20 minutes or when the ignition switch is turned to OFF. To turn off the defroster, press the button again.
