Lighter

The ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON position for the cigarette lighter to operate.

To use the cigarette lighter, push it fully into the socket. Once the element is hot, the lighter will pop out and is ready for use.

We recommend that you use replacement parts supplied by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

WARNING

Do not hold the cigarette lighter while it is heating. This may overheat and damage the lighter or the heating element.

Do not use the cigarette lighter socket for accessories (shavers, vacuum cleaners, laptops, coffee cups, etc.). Using plug-in accessories may damage the socket or cause an electrical system failure. Use power outlets for these purposes.

NOTICE

• Do not hold the cigarette lighter when it is hot, as this will cause overheating.

If the cigarette lighter does not pop out within 30 seconds, remove it to avoid possible overheating.

Do not insert foreign objects into the cigarette lighter socket. You may damage it.
