This power outlet is designed to power cellular phones or other devices designed to operate with the electrical system of the vehicle. These devices must consume less than 180 W (Watts) while the engine is running.

WARNING

Avoid electric shock. Do not touch or insert foreign objects (such as pins) into the outlet, and do not touch the outlet with wet hands.

NOTICE

To avoid damaging the power outlet:

  • Use the power outlet only while the engine is running, and disconnect accessories after use. Leaving an accessory connected for a long time with the engine off may discharge the battery.
  • Use only electrical accessories rated at 180 W (Watts) or less with an electrical current of less than 10 A.
  • Set the air conditioner or heater to the minimum level when using the power outlet.
  • Keep the cover closed when the power outlet is not in use.
  • Some electronic devices may cause electrical interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet. These devices may cause excessive static noise, as well as malfunctions in other systems or electronic devices used in your vehicle.
  • Insert the plug fully. If the contact is loose, the power supply may overheat or the fuse may blow due to an internal temperature increase.
  • Connect only a power source equipped with electronic devices / an electrical circuit breaker. Battery current may flow into the vehicle's electrical/electronic system and cause a system malfunction.
