Complete Repair Procedures of Control Shaft

DEPOSIT

   Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

   Disconnect the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery".)

   Remove the ECM. (Refer to Engine Control System - "ECM".)

   Disconnect the shift cable (A) and select cable (B) after removing the retaining clip (C).

   Remove the control shaft assembly (A) after loosening the bolts.

   Torque: 19.6 ~ 26 N·m

   

REMEDY

1. 1
   To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. 2
   After installation, make sure this part operates as intended in each range on the transaxle side corresponding to each shift lever position.
