DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the shift lever knob and boot (A).
  2. Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body group - "Console")
  3. Remove the air duct (A).
  4. Remove the snap ring (A) and disconnect the shift select cable (B) from the shift lever.
  5. Remove the snap ring (A), then disconnect the shift cable (B) from the shift lever.
  6. Remove the shift lever (A) after removing the mounting bolts (4 EA).

    Tightening torque: 8.8 - 13.7 N·m

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
