DEPOSIT

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Seat")
  3. Loosen the seat belt buckle mounting bolt and remove the seat belt buckle switch (A).

REMEDY

  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least three minutes before starting work.
  3. Install the seat belt buckle switch.

    Tightening torque: 39.2 ~ 54 N·m

  4. Install the front seat assembly. (Refer to Body - Front Seat.)
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
  6. After installing the seat belt buckle switch, check that the system operates properly.
    • Turn the ignition on. The SRS indicator should illuminate for approximately six seconds, then turn off.
