Auto Reverse (if equipped)

~1min read

If the window detects an obstruction during automatic closing, it will stop and lower approximately 30 cm (12 in) to allow removal of the obstruction.

If the window detects resistance while the window switch is pulled continuously, the window stops its upward movement and then lowers again approximately 2.5 seconds (1 inch).

If the power window switch is pulled again within 5 seconds after the window has lowered due to the auto reverse function, the auto reverse will not be activated.

Intelligent

The auto reverse function of the driver's window is activated only when using the "Auto Up" function by fully pulling the switch to the second detent position.

WARNING

Make sure your head, other body parts and other objects are clear of the window before it closes to avoid injury or vehicle damage. If an object less than 4 mm (0.16 in) in diameter is caught between the window and the window frame, the auto reverse function may not detect the resistance and the window will not stop or reverse direction.
