Type

Type B

This gauge shows the approximate amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank.

Intelligent

  • Refer to chapter 8 for the fuel tank capacity.
  • The fuel gauge is accompanied by a low fuel warning light, which illuminates when the fuel tank is nearly empty.
  • On slopes or in turns, the fuel gauge needle may fluctuate, and the low fuel warning light may also flicker or come on early due to fuel movement in the tank.

WARNING

Running out of fuel may put the lives of passengers at risk.

You should refuel as soon as possible when the warning light comes on or when the needle is close to the "0" (Empty) mark.

NOTICE

Avoid driving with extremely low fuel. Fuel starvation may cause engine misfires, which can damage the catalytic converter.
