DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the manual transaxle assembly. (See Manual Transaxle System - Manual Transaxle)
  2. Remove the flywheel. (See Cylinder Block Assembly - Flywheel)
  3. Remove the rear oil seal (A).

REMEDY

  1. Using SST (09214-03100, 09231-H1100) and a plastic hammer, install a new oil seal (A) so that the surface of the special tool contacts the cylinder block. The depth of the oil seal (A) from the cylinder block surface must be 0.2–0.8 mm (0.0079–0.0315 in.).
  2. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
