Windshield washer

In the OFF position, carefully pull the lever toward you to spray washer fluid onto the windshield and activate the wipers for 1-3 cycles. Use this function when the windshield is dirty. The washer spray and wipers stop when you release the lever.

If the washer does not operate, check the washer fluid level. If the level is low, add non-abrasive washer fluid to the washer fluid reservoir. The reservoir filler neck is located at the front of the engine compartment, passenger side.

WARNING

When the outside temperature is below freezing, ALWAYS warm the windshield with the defroster to prevent washer fluid from freezing on the windshield and obstructing your view, which may result in an accident, serious injury or death.

NOTICE

• To prevent damage to the washer pump, do not operate the washer when the reservoir is empty.
• To avoid damage to the wiper blades or windshield, do not operate the wipers when the windshield is dry.
• To avoid damage to the wiper arms and other components, do not attempt to move the wipers by hand.
• To avoid damage to the wipers and washer system, use non-freezing washer fluid in winter and in cold weather.
