Wipers

~1min read

Proceed as follows when the ignition key is in the ON position.

MIST (V): To perform a single wipe, push the lever down, then release it. The wipers remain in continuous wiping mode while the lever is held in this position.

OFF (O): The wipers do not operate.

INT (---): The wipers operate intermittently at the same interval. To change the interval, use the speed control lever.

AUTO: The rain sensor, located at the upper part of the windshield, detects the amount of rain and adjusts the wiping speed accordingly. The heavier the rain, the faster the wiping. When the rain stops, the wipers stop. To change the sensitivity, turn the speed control knob (B).

LO (1): The wipers operate at low speed.

HI (2): The wipers operate at high speed.

Intelligent

If heavy snow or ice has accumulated on the windshield, defrost it for approximately 10 minutes or until the snow and/or ice has melted before using the wipers to ensure they function properly.

If you do not remove the snow and/or ice before using the wiper and washer, the system may be damaged.
