If the smart key does not work, try replacing the old battery with a new one.

Battery type: CR2032

To replace the battery:

1. Pry open the smart key rear cover.

2. Replace the old battery with a new one. Make sure the battery is positioned correctly.

3. Reinstall the smart key rear cover.

If you suspect that your smart key may be damaged, or if you feel that it is not working properly, we recommend contacting an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
