DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the front drive shaft. (Refer to Propeller Shaft - Front Propeller Shaft)
  2. Remove the TJ boot. (Refer to Drive Shaft - TJ Joint)
  3. Remove the dynamic damper. (Refer to Propeller Shaft - Dynamic Damper)
  4. Using pliers or a flat-tip screwdriver, remove the TJ bellows seal clamps (A).
  5. Remove the BJ bellows seal.
  6. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
  7. Check the front alignment. (Refer to Suspension System - "Front Wheel Alignment")

REMEDY

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  2. Using the special service tool (09495-3K000), tighten the BJ bellows seal clamps.
  3. Install the TJ gasket. (Refer to Drive Shaft - TJ Joint)
  4. Install the front propeller shaft. (Refer to Propeller Shaft - Front Propeller Shaft)
  5. Check the front alignment. (Refer to Suspension System - "Front Wheel Alignment")
