Average Fuel Economy (1)

  • Average fuel economy is calculated from the total distance driven and fuel consumed since the last average fuel economy reset.
  • The average fuel economy can be reset either manually or automatically.

Manual Reset

To manually reset the average fuel economy, press and hold the [OK] button on the steering wheel for more than 1 second when the average fuel economy is displayed.

Automatic Reset

To automatically reset the average fuel economy after refueling, select "Auto Reset" in the User Settings menu on the LCD display.

- After ignition: The average fuel economy is automatically reset whenever 4 hours have elapsed after the engine is turned off.
- After refueling: The average fuel economy is automatically reset when the vehicle speed exceeds 1 km/h after 6 liters (1.6 gallons) of fuel or more has been added.

Information

The average fuel economy may be inaccurate if the vehicle has been driven less than 300 meters (0.19 miles) after the Engine Start/Stop button is turned on.

Instant Fuel Economy (2)

• In this mode, the instantaneous fuel economy over the last few seconds is displayed when the vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h.
