Removal

  1. Remove the rain sensor cover (A).
  2. To release the latch, pull the latch sideways using the hole in the cover with a small flat-blade screwdriver (A).
  3. Remove the rain sensor.
    1. Insert a small flat-blade screwdriver (-) into the hole at the bottom (B) or top (A), between the rain sensor and the bracket.
    2. Slowly pull the rain sensor vertically up and down in the direction of the glass, then slowly separate the rain sensor from the windshield without damaging the silicone on the sensor.
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (B) from the rain sensor by inserting a small flat-blade screwdriver (A) into the hole.

Installation

  1. Connect the rain sensor connector.
  2. Press down one of the spring clip latches (A) until it locks and you hear a click. Then press the latch of the second spring clip (B) to hold the sensor in the correct position.
