Additional Climate Control Features

Cluster Ionizer (if equipped)

When the ignition switch is in the ON position, the Clean Air function turns on automatically.

The Clean Air function is also turned off automatically when the ignition switch is in the OFF position.

Automatic Ventilation (if equipped)

When the ignition switch is in the ON position or the engine is running, and the outside temperature is below 59°F (15°C) with the recirculation mode selected for more than three to five minutes, the air intake position will automatically change to the fresh air mode.

To cancel or reset Automatic Ventilation

When the air conditioning system is on, select the Face level mode, and press the recirculation button five times within three seconds while pressing the A/C button.When the Automatic Ventilation function is enabled, the recirculation button indicator light will blink 6 times.

When the automatic ventilation function is activated, the recirculation button indicator will flash 6 times.

When the Automatic Ventilation function is disabled, the recirculation button indicator light will blink 3 times.

Sunroof Recirculation (if equipped)

When the heater or air conditioning system is on with the sunroof open, the fresh air mode will be selected automatically. If you press the recirculation button with the sunroof open, the recirculation mode will activate but will only remain on for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, the air intake control will return to the fresh air mode.

When the sunroof is closed, the air intake position will return to the previously selected position.
