Roof Side Rails

If your vehicle is equipped with roof side rails, roof rack crossbars can be installed on top of your vehicle.

Roof rack crossbars are an accessory and are available from your local HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE

If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, do not install cargo on the roof rack in such a way that it could interfere with sunroof operation.

NOTICE

• When carrying cargo on the roof rack, take the necessary precautions to ensure that the cargo does not damage the roof of your vehicle.
• When carrying large items on the roof rack, make sure they do not exceed the overall roof length or width.

WARNING

• The following specification is the maximum weight that can be loaded on the roof rack. Distribute the load as evenly as possible on the roof rack and secure the cargo firmly.
  Loading cargo or luggage in excess of the specified roof rack weight limit may damage your vehicle.
  
• The vehicle's center of gravity will be higher when items are loaded on the roof rack. Avoid sudden starts, braking, sharp turns, abrupt maneuvers, or high speeds, which could result in loss of vehicle control or rollover, leading to an accident.
• Always drive slowly and turn corners carefully when carrying items on the roof rack. Strong updrafts caused by passing vehicles or natural causes may create sudden upward pressure on items loaded on the roof rack. This is especially true when carrying large flat items such as wooden panels or mattresses. This may cause items to fall from the roof rack and cause damage to your vehicle or others around you. • To prevent damage or loss of cargo while driving, frequently check before and during driving to ensure that items on the roof rack are securely fastened.
