Repair Procedures

Removal

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Remove the inside rearview mirror cover (A) and the rain sensor cover (B).

   Disconnect the front view camera module connector (A).

   Release the fixing points (A) of the bracket, then remove the front view camera (B).

   

Installation

Perform camera calibration in the following case. (Refer to Front View Camera System - Repair Procedures.) When the front view camera is replaced with a new one. When the front view camera is removed and installed. If the front view camera connector on the windshield is deformed. If the windshield has been replaced. When a fault code (System Out of Calibration) is displayed.

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   When replacing the front view camera with a new one, perform the Variant Coding procedure using the diagnostic tool.

   Perform calibration of the front view camera module. (Refer to Repair Procedures - Automatic Calibration of Target Service Point (ATSP).)
