Repair Procedures

Removal

   Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Pump")

   Disconnect the electric pump wiring connector (A) and the fuel level sensor connector (B).

   Remove the retaining clip (A), then disconnect the supply hose (B).

   Remove the head assembly (C) after releasing the cushion retaining clip (D).

   Remove the reservoir cup by releasing the retaining hook (A).

   Remove the fuel pressure regulator retaining bracket (A).

   Remove the fuel pressure regulator (B) from the fuel filter.

   Remove the pre-filter (B) by releasing the locking hooks (A).

   Remove the fuel pump motor (C) from the fuel filter (D) by pulling it downward.

   

   

Installation

1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
