Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the lower crash pad panel. (Refer to Body – "Crash Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the side ventilation duct (left).

  4. Remove the lower crash pad switch assembly after loosening the screws.

  5. Disconnect the rheostat switch connector.

  6. Check the voltage of the new rheostat switch. If the light intensity changes smoothly without flickering when the rheostat is turned, the rheostat can be considered normal.
