Replacement

  • Wear gloves to protect your hands from injury.
  • Be careful not to scratch the body surface.
  1. Remove the tailgate lower trim. (Refer to Tailgate Trim - Tailgate Trim)
  2. Press the stopper pin and disconnect the rear view camera connector (A).

  3. Loosen the nuts and remove the tailgate back panel (A).

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    • Check that the liftgate locks and opens securely.
    • Replace all damaged clips.
