Replacement

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • Be careful that the tailgate does not fall on you, as the lifts are removed. Ask an assistant to hold the tailgate open or use a safe method to keep it open.
  1. Using a screwdriver, lightly lift the clips (A) on both ends of the lift support (B), then remove the lift support from the bracket.

  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    • Check that the liftgate locks and opens securely.
