Repair Procedures

Removal

Outside Mirror Turn Signal Lamp
Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  • When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Front Door Trim")
  3. Remove the outside mirror cover (A).

  4. Disconnect the mirror connector (A).

  5. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the outside mirror.

  6. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  7. Disconnect the DRL connector (A).

  8. Remove the DRL after loosening the mounting bolts.

  9. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  10. Remove the rear combination lamp. (Refer to Lighting System - "Rear Combination Lamp")

Installation

Outside Mirror Turn Signal Lamp
  1. Install the outside mirror assembly, then connect the connector.
  2. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. Install the DRL.
  4. Connect the DRL connector.
  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  6. Install the rear combination lamp.
  7. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
